Professor Paul Blom received his PhD Degree from the Technical University Eindhoven in 1992. From 1992 until May 2000, he worked for Phillip Research Laboratories before being appointed Professor at the University of Groningen. In September 2008 he moved to the Holst Centre in Eindhoven where he became Scientific Director. In September 2012 he finally joined the MPI-P. Paul Blom co-authored over 300 papers dealing with device physics of polymeric light-emitting diodes, transistors, solar cells and memories.
