From the beginning of 2019, about 115 researchers will be working in the ultra-modern laboratories of the four-storeyed building. The starting point for the new research building was the acquisition of the ERC Synergy Grant "Diamond Quantum Devices and Biology (BioQ)" for 10.3 million euros by Professors Martin Plenio, Fedor Jelezko and Tanja Weil.
