In our small but fine laboratory we have a set of commercial as well as homebuilt EPR spectrometers working at three different microwave frequencies:

Bruker Elexsys 580 cw/pulse EPR spectrometer (X-band, ~9.7 GHz mw frequency)

The workhorse, fully equipped and mainly used
for pulse EPR methods (DEER, HYSCORE, ENDOR).

Equipped with a closed cycle cryostat for low temperature measurements (8K).

Bruker Elexsys 680 cw/pulse EPR spectrometer (W-band, ~94 GHz mw frequency)

The high-field spectrometer, giving ten times increased g-resolution;
also fully equipped for pulse EPR experiments.

Magnettech MiniScope MS200 benchtop cw EPR spectrometer (X-band, ~9.4 GHz mw frequency)

The little but powerful spectrometer for cw EPR.

Homebuilt mobile DNP Polarizer for NMR signal enhancement (working at 0.3T/8.4 GHz mw frequency)

Equipped with a permanent Halbach magnet and intended for clinical applications.

Homebuilt S-band pulse EPR spectrometer (S-band, ~3.5 GHz mw frequency)

Designed and built by Christian Bauer,
equipped with a permanent Halbach magnet

Closed cycle cryostat for pulse EPR

Designed and built in cooperation with ARS, Inc,
replaces liquid helium open flow systems on the Bruker Elexsys 580 EPR spectrometer, very time and cost efficient!

Homebuilt probeheads for various EPR spectrometers

Designed and built by Christian Bauer.

In addition, we use the fully equipped chemistry lab
