The department of Prof. Dr. Hans Wolfgang Spiess consists of more than 40 scientists and technicians working on various research topics such as EPR, NMR, MRI, computational chemistry, synthesis, analytical- and polymer chemistry. The group is subdivided into 6 teams of postdocs, PhD- and diploma students. Each team is guided by a responsible project leader. If you want to learn more about the group or an available PhD, diploma or undergraduate research assistant position, feel free to contact the responsible project leader directly for further information.
Formal applications should consist of cover letter, CV and three letters of recommendation. Mass mailed, unspecific e-mails will not be considered.
Project Leaders
Dr. Gunther Brunklaus - NMR of Organic and Inorganic Solids
Dr. Robert Graf - NMR of Polymers and Soft Matter
Dr. Dariush Hinderberger - EPR Spectroscopy and Non-covalent Interactions in Soft Matter
Dr. Dariush Hinderberger - Organic and Polymer Chemistry; NMR with Non-thermal Spin Polarization
Dr. Kerstin Münnemann - NMR Imaging and Hyperpolarised Gases
PD Dr. Daniel Sebastiani - ab Initio Molecular Dynamics, ab Initio Calculation of NMR Shifts
