Ph.D. Committee

of the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research

WHAT IT IS:

Founded in 2003 by the Ph.D. students, the Ph.D. committee attempts to bridge the gap between the students, the University, the Workers' Committee at our institute and our directors. The Ph.D. committee is comprised of Ph.D. students from the MPIP, with one representative from each research group.

TASKS OF THE PH.D. COMMITTEE:

The Committee acts as a mediator in Ph.D.-related issues of the institute, as well as contractual matters and issues regarding the scientific environment, at all times representing and promoting the interests of the students. The Ph.D. committee also ensures the flow of information between the various research groups and the Ph.D. students.
