The group pursues a broad program of theoretical research in soft condensed matter physics and material science. It has a wide range of research interests: from polymer networks, polyelectrolytes, hydrogels, biopolymers, membranes to generalized hydrodynamics and instabilities, glassy behavior, material science, and molecular electronics.
