PhDone! – Defended & Delivered by Doctor Eric
Heartfelt congratulations to Eric Hartmann on defending his PhD thesis!
Eric was a PhD in our group, where his research centered on KIMMDY - a biomolecular reaction emulator - and Grappa - a machine-learned molecular mechanics force field. His doctoral hat tells its own story of a dedicated “Hannis” (hand tennis) player, an avid cyclist, and a mushroom enthusiast. Also, Eric was one of the pianists who brought festive cheer to last year’s carol singing at HITS.
We couldn’t be prouder of his remarkable achievement, a true reflection of his dedication and hard work, and wish him all the best. May this be the start of many exciting new chapters.
