November 2025 - Stay at UFC Fortaleza, Brasil

Lukas, Richard and Francesca had the opportunity to visit Prof. Náhila Ricardo’s lab at UCF in Fortaleza, Brazil, as part of a DAAD-funded exchange. The visit offered an experience into a different, and beautifully elegant way of working in the lab. During their stay, they introduced the Electron Microscopy and Biofabrication labs at MPIP, shared recent research highlights, and presented the group’s exciting projects ranging from bioprinting and nanocapsules to single-particle CryoEM.
