Struktur und Dynamik von Makromolekülen

Die schnellen Entwicklungen in der synthetischen Chemie in den letzten Jahrzehnten ermöglichten die Herstellung einer großen Vielfalt von Makromolekülen mit kontrollierter Topologie und Funktionalität. Wir konzentrieren uns auf das Verständnis der Beziehung zwischen der molekularen Architektur, Zusammensetzung und Verarbeitung einerseits und der Morphologie und den physikalischen Eigenschaften der makromolekularen Materialien andererseits. Dieses Verständnis ist nicht nur von grundlegendem Interesse, sondern wird auch dazu beitragen, neue Materialien für verschiedene Anwendungen zu entwerfen.
