Dr Zhaoliang Zheng got PhD training from Prof Rong Cao in University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (China) and Prof Helmuth Moehwald from Max-Planck Institute of Colloids and Interface (Germany). Since 2013, he had postdoc experience in MPIKG and University of Liverpool, working with Prof Dmitry Shchukin. In 2019, he started Marie-Curie Individual Fellowship in Prof Katharina Landfester’s group. Dr Zheng’s main interests are physicochemical performance of 2D materials at interface, functional carbonaceous hybrids and computation-assisted high-throughput screening methodology. He has published 25 peer-review articles and participated in five EU and UK projects (2 as PI).
