Main Focus
Development and design of novel materials (polymer-based and inorganic) for supported olefin polymerization. Slurry- and gasphase polymerizations are carried out in order to understand polymerization kinetics, fragmentation of the carrier and determination of catalytic productivities and activities.
Curriculum Vitae
Daniel Thalheim studied Chemistry at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and graduated as Chemist Diplom (Univ.) in April 2018. He joined the group of Prof. Dr. Tanja Weil in July 2017 for his diploma thesis in the subgroup of Dr. Markus Klapper and started working on his PhD thesis about supported catalysis for olefinpolymerizations in May 2018.
