The lecture on organic bioelectronics, we will cover the following topics: Introduction to bioelectronics, OTFT-based biosensors, device functionalization, device architectures (electrolyte-gated transistors, dual gate transistors, electrochemical transistors), soft, stretchable materials and devices, biodegradable and edible electronics .In addition to their ability to conduct electronic charges, organic materials also support ionic transport. These materials are also known as mixed conductors. In the second part of the lecture module, the basic concepts of organic mixed conductors will be discussed as well device operation and their application for biosensing.
