Main Focus
I would like to develop a bioresponsive peptide system that enables programmable intracellular self-assembly into functional nanostructures within T cells, allowing precise spatiotemporal control over supramolecular architecture to modulate immune cell activation.
Curriculum Vitae
Larissa received her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Science, with a focus on Life Science, from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2022. She subsequently pursued a dual Master’s degree in Chemistry at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg and the University of Wollongong, Australia. For her Master’s thesis in 2024, she joined the group of Prof. Simon Thiele at the Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nürnberg, where she worked with Dr. Jochen Kerres on block copolymers for nanostructured proton-exchange membranes. In September 2025, she joined the group of Prof. Tanja Weil as a PhD student, focusing on the synthesis and characterisation of bioresponsive peptides for immunomodulation.
