Mongkhol Prawatborisut
Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research
Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Mongkhol Prawatborisut obtained his
bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry and his master's degree in Polymer
Technology from the King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL).
During his master's program, he was awarded the JASSO Scholarship, which
allowed him to conduct two-month research at the Japan Advanced Institute of
Technology (JAIST). There, he studied the properties of modified chitosan films
under the supervision of Prof. Masayuki Yamaguchi. In 2017, he started his doctoral
studies at the Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC),
under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Crespy. From 2019 to 2021, he was a guest
PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (MPIP), under the
supervision of Prof. Katharina Landfester with the topic
"Nanoparticle-protein interactions of temperature-responsive nanoparticles”.
Following his doctoral graduation in 2022, he worked as a sales and application
support for magnetic resonance (NMR and EPR). In May 2025, he joined Prof.
Landfester’s group as a postdoctoral researcher. His current research focuses
on the development of protein nanocapsules for targeting the blood-brain
barrier.
