Jugend forscht

We would like to welcome Marie Eichholtz to our institute for the next two weeks in the department of Tanja Weil. With her prize at the "Jugend Forscht" competition in Hamburg she has won an internship at the MPI-P. Her work was carried out on extemophilic organisms - i.e. organisms that adapt to extreme environmental conditions - in the hot springs of Iceland. After her internship, she returns to Hamburg, where she studies "Molecular Life Sciences".
