Morphology Formation

In many novel materials the organization in thin films, both at molecular length scales and macroscopic phase domains, is the key to their functional properties. We focus on the characterization of organization during film deposition, as well as understanding how to obtain desired morphologies by process control. This research line combines computational methods, processing, microscopy, fabrication techniques, X-ray and NMR spectroscopy.
