Central South University visits Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research

Last Friday, the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (MPI-P) in Mainz welcomed a high-level delegation from Central South University (CSU) in China. The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. LI Jiancheng, President of CSU and a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

The visit included scientific presentations and in-depth discussions about potential collaborations. The goal was to deepen the scientific exchange between the two institutions and to explore joint research initiatives, particularly in the fields of materials science, engineering, and medical applications.

The delegation also included Prof. Dr. JIAO Yong (Dean of the Undergraduate School), Prof. Dr. SUN Wei (Dean of the Graduate School), Prof. Dr. GAO Guangjun (Dean of the Dundee International Institute of CSU), and Dr. LYU Ben (President of the Second Xiangya Hospital).

The Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research welcomed the growing interest in international cooperation and emphasized the central role of global scientific collaboration in addressing worldwide challenges.
