About the position:

We are looking for motivated and talented postdocs and PhD students to conduct research in the field of supramolecular biomimetic systems.

The project involves the development of biomimetic materials and methods for engineering cell-like systems that can be used as smart carriers for therapeutic agents, nano/microreactors, biosensors, and synthetic cells and organelles.

As part of the Department of Physical Chemistry of Polymers, our group has access to state-of-the-art facilities and an exciting interdisciplinary and international community.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An academic degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with synthetic chemistry and basic characterization techniques.
  • Experience with polymer chemistry, microfluidics or colloid chemistry is a plus.
  • Experience writing scientific reports and presenting data.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
