I would like to functionalize fluorescent nanodiamonds with biocompatible molecules and investigate their application in in situ nanosensing.
Curriculum Vitae
Qi Lu studied Pharmacy at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in June 2018. In April 2020, he joined the research group of Prof. Dr. Naoki Komatsu at Kyoto University and received his Master of Science degree in March 2022.
He subsequently began his doctoral studies in April 2022 in the group of Prof. Dr. Tanja Weil at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, earning his Ph.D. in December 2025. Since January 2026, he has been working as a postdoctoral researcher.
