PhD/Postdoc position: Nanocapsules

To strengthen the research in the field of Nanocapsules for biomedical applications OR for cascade reactions in synthetic cells, we are currently looking for highly motivated and talented PhD/postdoctoral candidates with an excellent academic record and strong expertise in colloidal chemistry and material science.

About the project

Within this research project, the successful candidate will be in charge of developing novel nanocapsules and utilising them for biomedical applications such as targeted drug delivery OR for cascade reactions in synthetic cells. You will be part of the Physical Chemistry of Polymers department at the MPI-P, led by Prof. Dr. Katharina Landfester.

Job requirements

For this position, we seek enthusiastic and motivated candidates with a Masters or PhD degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or similar. The working language at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research is English. Therefore, good communication skills in English (both written and spoken) are required.

The position is available now. Remuneration will be according to the collective wage agreement for the public service (TVöD), 13 TV-B
