Forschungsinteressen
I am interested in programming living
materials that can sense and respond to cancer metabolism, allowing cells to
autonomously build and shape their own mechanical environment.
Vita
Marius studied Chemistry and Management at Ulm University and received his bachelor’s degree in 2018. After an internship at Schott AG in Mainz, he started his master’s degree studies in chemistry at University of Münster focusing on the synthesis and self-assembly of block copolymers in the group of Prof. André Gröschel. He graduated in November 2021 and joined the group of Prof. Tanja Weil at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in May 2022 as a PhD student working on cell-responsive hydrogels.
