Jana studied Chemistry at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz (Germany) and graduated as Master of Science in January 2023. In March 2022 she joined the group of Prof. Dr. Tanja Weil to complete her master's thesis. Together with her supervisor, she developed an enzyme-responsive material to achieve the controlled formation of intracellular nanostructures. In January 2023 she started her PhD (also in the group of Prof. Dr. Tanja Weil) and is working on peptide-based bioactive intracellular self-assembling systems.
