Ellen Backus speaks at the Annual Meeting of New Champions at the 2015 World Economic Forum.

Jenée Cyran joins the group as a postdoctoral researcher to study ice surfaces using SFG. Additionally Sudipta Das joins the group as a PhD student, working on the dynamics of water on the charged water-air interface.

At the DPG Spring Meeting, Ruth won the poster prize for the Chemical and Polymer Physics Devision, for her poster entitled "Ultrafast dynamics of membrane-bound water molecules revealed by two-dimensional surface-specific vibrational spectroscopy". In addition, Simon won a helicopter for having the best aim in the Newport OpticsCage+^TM-Fight Competition

The group attends the German Physical Society (DPG) spring meeting. Saman, Alejandra and Ellen give talks while Simon and Ruth present posters.
