Curriculum Vitae
Raphael studied Chemistry at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and graduated as Master of Science in April 2020. During his master studies he spent a semester abroad at the Polymer Science and Engineering department of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. There he joined the group of Prof. Todd Emrick and worked on water-soluble conjugated polymers. For his master thesis he joined the group of Prof. Tanja Weil and worked with Dr. Lutz Nuhn on reductive depolymerizable and decationizable polycarbonates. Raphael started his PhD in June 2020 in the group of Prof. Tanja Weil and is focusing his research on the synthesis and amplification of dynamic covalent sequences.
