Main Focus
I am interested in investigating the dynamics and catalytic activity of nitroxide radicals in peptide-based nanostructures, in order to understand the interplay between molecular architecture and function, and to exploit this knowledge for applications in catalysis and nanotechnology.
Curriculum Vitae
Patrick studied chemistry at Ulm University (Ulm, Germany)
and completed his Master’s degree in 2023. For his Master's Thesis Patrick
joined the Group of Prof. Tanja Weil in Mainz with a focus on stimuli-responsive
Polysaccharide-peptide hybrid hydrogel materials. Patrick started his PhD in
January 2024 in the group of Prof. Tanja Weil and is investigating the
properties of self-assembling spin-labeled peptide nanostructures.
