Curriculum Vitae

Ayan obtained his MSc in Organic Chemistry in 2017 from Visva Bharati University. During his master's thesis, he joined Dr. Prithidipa Sahoo group to work on selective detection of biologically relevant small molecules by fluorescent sensors. Following, he secured junior and senior research fellowships from Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), India to start his doctoral programme under the supervision of Dr. Dibyendu Das. His research was focused on catalytic competencies of cross β amyloids. From January 2024, he joined the group of Prof. Tanja Weil as a postdoctoral research associate, exploring the potential of catalytic cross talk between self-assemblies and living systems with a temporal control.
