Are you ready to explore the possibility of making your mark at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research? Are you looking for a Bachelor, Master or PhD thesis working on cutting-edge topics in chemistry, material science, life-science or physics? Do you want to network with fellow PhD students and foster collaborative endeavors between academic institutions?

The Student Open House 2024 is organized by the MPIP PhD Committee & the JCF Mainz-Wiesbaden as a peer-to-peer networking event for Bachelor, Master, and PhD students from universities and research institutes in the Rhein-Main region.

Join us for an evening of good conversations, free drinks and food and an exciting glimpse into our science!

• Poster Session: Have a look at the research areas of the different departments and at posters showcasing specific research projects of MPIP PhD students and group leaders. Maybe you’ll find your thesis topic or a future collaborator.
• Lab Tours: Experience MPIP's research up close. Various labs will be showcased by PhD students or group leaders to further demonstrate the research activity at MPIP and the special equipment we have in-house.
• Meet the scientists: Enjoy a panel talk of MPIP PhD students showcasing their research projects and their working life at MPIP.
• Live music from our MPIP Band!
• Free drinks and food provided!
