Main Focus
My Ph.D. thesis is studying the wetting phenomenon on soft liquid-repellent surfaces e.g. soft polymer brush surfaces, stretchable super-liquid-repellent surfaces, and liquid-repellent polymer coatings. Understanding the wetting process on soft surfaces will be meaningful in developing applications in surgery, tissue engineering, flexible electronics, and soft robotics.
