Dr. Enquan Jin

Enquan Jin received his Bachelor’s (2010) and Master’s (2013) degrees in Chemistry from Beijing Normal University (BNU), where he worked on synthesis of donor-acceptor conjugated polymers for polymer solar cell under the supervision of Professor Zhishan Bo. Then he joined the group of Professor Donglin Jiang at the Institute for Molecular Science (IMS) in Japan and obtained his Ph. D degree in March 2017. His research was focused on design and synthesis of functional Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs). Then he attended the group of Professor Klaus Müllen at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (MPI-P) in Mainz. He received the Humboldt fellowship for two years from May 2019. His current research focuses on the bottom-up synthesis of multi-functional nanographene molecules and GNRs with novel semiconducting properties for optoelectronic and electronic devices.
