Postdoctoral position

starting as soon as possible.

To strengthen the research in the field of 3D printing, the department of Prof. Dr. Katharina Landfester within the MPI for Polymer Research is looking for a postdoctoral candidate with excellent academic record and strong expertise in colloidal synthesis, surface functionalization and physical chemistry, preferable with some experience in lithographical 3D printing. The successful candidate will be in charge of developing 3D-printed polymeric structures that are enriched with nanoparticles of different kind in order to enhance their functionality.

Job requirements

The essential requirements for this post are as follows:

  • A PhD (or equivalent) in Chemistry or Material Science, or closely aligned disciplines,
  • Motivation to inter-disciplinary al collaborative research

Working scientific language at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research is English.
