The European Academy of Sciences welcomes a new fellow

Professor Klaus Müllen became a fellow of the renowned European Academy of Sciences (EURASC)

Mainz/Liège. On January 6, 2015, Klaus Müllen, director at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (MPI-P) in Mainz, was elected as fellow of the EURASC by the full General Board. Prof. Müllen is now part of a prestigious league of 650 members, including 65 Nobel Prize and Fields Medal winners from 63 countries. This nomination acknowledges Klaus Müllen’s great efforts in promoting fundamental research and excellence.

The EURASC recognizes and elects only the best European scientists with a vision for Europe as a whole. It aims to strengthen European science and scientific cooperation and utilizes the expertise of its members in advising other European bodies in the betterment of European research, technological application and social development.

The EURASC is based in Liège, Belgium and is a fully independent international association of distinguished scholars. It carries an important mission to promote excellence in science and technology and their essential roles in fostering social and economic development and progress.
